Today I started back at uni, with a scary broadcasting module. I feel out of my depth already. It’s one with blagging essays the night before they’re due, it’s another having 50% of your mark riding on your ability to play with expensive radio equipment. I got my results for last semester and, despite everything, I passed pretty well. Really happy with my mark in feature writing and popular culture… and, well, no one really cares about media law, although my mark was decent. I think ‘relieved’ sums it up nicely.
Trains have been screwing me over this week. Today’s disaster in Paisley meant that it took over ninety minutes to get from Glasgow to Irvine, which kind of negated my early finish at uni. I know that accidents happen but the guy I spoke to in Paisley was so rude and clueless, which made it that much worse. Got back to Andrew’s in the end, though.
Andrew got away from work half an hour earlier than expected but, seeing as it technically started at seven, he had to go straight to band practice - so I have awful magazines, Vanilla Coke and episodes of New Girl and Desperate Housewives to serve as company for the next few hours.
Oh, seeing Leah next Wednesday for dinner and to exchanged belated Christmas presents. Looking forward to seeing her, it’s been ages.
